We are currently looking to hire an ISA certified arborist for a sales position. Come join our team of knowledgeable tree workers and help keep Austin Green!
Requirements
- ISA Certified Arborist designation.
- Experience in tree care industry (not just pruning).
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Strong work ethic and self motivated.
- Willing to work late sometimes during busy season and discipline to be productive for the company during slow season.
- Reasonable computer skills. All company schedules, contracts and invoicing is done in a computer system.
- Prepare monthly sales reports.
Preferences
- Related college degree.
- History of community involvement and volunteering.
- Knowledge / experience in web technology or GIS technology.
Duties
- Meet with existing and new clients to determine service needs.
- Prepare service contracts and explain company services.
- Meet crews at job sites to ensure proper work scoping.
- Engage contractors, engineers, architects and property managers for new business leads in addition to running provided leads.
- Volunteer at ISA Texas Chapter events (on paid company time).
Compensation
Pay will be commensurate with experience. Compensation will include salary, commission, company truck, smart phone, laptop and 50% of insurance.
What We Provide You
Above all else, we will provide you with a knowledgeable staff to execute the work you sell. Each of the three pruning crews have an ISA certified tree worker. Our tree care program services have a dedicated manager, so a certified arborist will follow up with your clients to check on their trees. You will be provided inbound leads from existing customers and new potential clients contacting us. You would primarily work from home. Our client management system is web based so you will have access to schedules and client info from any internet connected device (we will provide you a laptop and a smart phone).
We’re also accepting applications for interns and/or trainees to groom into the perfect tree stewards. ISA Certification will be required for interns/trainees as well.
